Paris-based event tech company Naboo has closed a Series B funding round of $70 million. Lightspeed Venture Partners is leading the round, with existing investors Notion Capital, ISAI, and Ternel also participating. The new funding follows a Series A round of €20 million from last year.

The financing comes at a time of structural change in the corporate events market. The increasing use of AI and sustained growth in customer- and partner-focused events such as conferences and product launches have made corporate events a strategic spending category for many organizations.

All-in-One Platform for the MICE Sector

Since its founding in 2022, Naboo has offered an all-in-one platform for booking, managing, and executing corporate events in the MICE segment (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions). The platform consolidates the entire event organization in one place – from venues to catering, activities, and transportation. The startup combines software with operational support and positions itself as an alternative to traditional agency models.

The French startup has expanded beyond Europe into North America and is seeing growing adoption among large international organizations. Customers include Meta, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, HubSpot, Figma, and ElevenLabs – for both internal and customer-facing events. CEO and co-founder Maxime Eduardo explains that the company’s goal is to equip large organizations with a global infrastructure that brings together procurement efficiency, compliance, and automation.

Beyond Events

With the fresh capital, Naboo plans to significantly expand its business model. Rather than focusing exclusively on event organization, the company is developing a more comprehensive procurement platform that primarily covers so-called tail-spend expenses – numerous smaller, previously hard-to-control purchasing processes.

Specifically, Naboo is investing in several new product areas: an AI-powered booking agent to complement its existing concierge service, and a proprietary corporate payment card that integrates seamlessly into customer enterprise systems. Additionally, AI will be increasingly deployed in bidding and proposal management for events of various sizes to make costs more transparent and enable more efficient control.

Beyond that, Naboo is exploring entry into additional procurement categories outside of events. The focus is on areas with fragmented spending, complex supply chains, multiple payment streams, and high compliance requirements. The goal is to further automate bookings, payments, and bidding processes, thereby centralizing complex procurement workflows.
