Diaspora Special Edition

Bulgarian founders, investors and executives abroad

We decided to do something about those interesting and inspiring individuals who rarely come home – the diaspora. This channel is dedicated to the dynamics between Bulgarian founders, entrepreneurs, investors, networkers, and digital normals who live abroad and the local ecosystem.

Here you can read and watch news, features, interviews, even personal letters we have received. You can find answers to questions like who is out there, why local funds invest in startups with Bulgarian founders abroad, what is the motivation of the entrepreneurs who came back, do founders abroad keep the connection to Bulgaria, and how…

We started it all as a Christmas Initiative together with the Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (BVCA) called the Christmas Mailbox for stories from the Diaspora. But we decided that these valuable stories deserve to have their own section and live longer on the Trending Topics web page.
