ubicube operates a B2B SaaS platform that transforms satellite-based earth observation data into actionable information using GeoAI. The young company was Rising Star of the Year at the EY Scale-up Award 2025 in the SpaceTech & Aviation category.

ecop is a Vienna heat pump pioneer that received an investment of 10.5 million euros this year. With its rotating large-scale heat pumps that operate with a special gas mixture at temperatures up to 200 degrees, ecop aims to replace fossil process heat in energy-intensive industries and district heating networks.

Social Cooling develops TerraBreeze, an environmentally friendly plug-and-play air conditioning system with patented heat storage technology, and received the Rising Star of the Year award at the EY Scale-up Award 2025 in the Sustainability & GreenTech category.

PropTech: Optimuse

Optimuse is a Vienna DeepTech startup that secured four million euros in seed financing to expand its AI platform for building planning and renovation. The software creates a digital building model from existing plans, compares thousands of variants for heating, cooling, ventilation, and building envelope in a short time, and recommends the most economical and climate-friendly solution.

mypaperwork is a Vienna startup that developed an AI-based platform enabling immigrants to prepare applications for residence and work permits such as the Red-White-Red Card, EU Blue Card, or student visas more easily and error-free. In a pre-seed financing round, the young company received over 500,000 euros last year.

Green Commerce: Minimist

Minimist is a Vienna startup that offers second-hand shops software enabling them to capture products once and then automatically list them on platforms like Vinted, Google Shopping, Shopify, and eBay. This includes AI-supported image recognition and price suggestions. In a pre-seed round, Minimist raised 350,000 euros last year.

Fintech: Bluechip

Bluechip is the first stablecoin rating agency and evaluates how safe and stable various stablecoins are. The startup relocated its headquarters from the USA to Vienna and completed a seed financing round of over one million euros last year.

EdTech: story.one

story.one is a Vienna startup whose AI-based Story Editor enables users to create complete non-fiction books from existing content such as presentations, interviews, or videos, and subsequently publish them as print-on-demand titles through retailers like Thalia or Amazon. Users specify topic, style, perspective, and target audience, while the AI generates synopsis, structure, and chapter texts.

HealthTech: XUND

XUND is a scale-up founded in 2018 that develops MDR-certified, AI-based Software as a Medical Device for digital symptom analysis. In 2025, XUND received over six million euros in a pre-Series A round. Additionally, the HealthTech company won the title Scale-up of the Year 2025 in the BioTech & Health category.

Mobility: Alveri

Alveri builds and operates its own network of charging stations and offers innovative charging solutions with automated charging robots and distributors. The young company received the Rising Star of the Year award at the EY Scale-up Award 2025 in the Mobility & Transport category.

SpeedPox is a startup from Korneuburg that develops ultra-fast curing epoxy resin systems enabling significant energy savings across various industries. At the #glaubandich Challenge 2025, SpeedPox won the finale at Erste Campus in Vienna as Startup of the Year, representing the Aerospace category.
