eustella: European AI Agent Now Generates Slides and Works With Documents

The Vienna-based AI startup eustella has rolled out a feature update for its users. Positioned as a European “AI companion” or AI agent and currently in an open beta phase, the service is gaining primarily document-related capabilities for creating and editing office files.

Among the new features is the ability to create and manage projects within the app. In addition, eustella can now read, update, and generate files in PDF, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint formats.

A key focus of the update is the adoption of design templates: users can upload Word and PowerPoint files and train eustella on their respective layouts. On request, a template can be saved as a “theme.” The system is then said to be able to create new slides and Word documents in the exact design of the uploaded file.

The update also integrates an image gallery into the application’s memory section. Beyond that, the company cites general improvements to eustella’s capabilities without breaking them down in detail.

Web version and image generation via FLUX.2

eustella had already significantly expanded its feature set with the previous update, which marked the transition into open beta alongside the launch of the web version. At its core was image generation via the FLUX.2 model from German provider Black Forest Labs, as well as the ability to analyze uploaded photos. This was accompanied by initial skills offering specialized expertise — for instance in the area of design — reworked group chats, expanded memory management, and an improved search function. The new option to adopt design templates from office files builds directly on these design skills.

eustella is available as a web application as well as for Android via the Google Play Store and — through TestFlight — for iPhone in the App Store. As the service is in open beta, the team continues to call on its testers to share feedback via a survey and the project’s WhatsApp community.
