Anyone who thought in 2025 that this was all just hype will be proven wrong in 2026: because funding rounds in coding agents and vibe-coding platforms continue to flow steadily. At the end of 2025, market leader Cursor (Anysphere) increased its valuation to almost $30 billion, shortly thereafter Lovable from Sweden landed at $6.6 billion. Now Replit is catching up. Replit has completed a funding round of $400 million. The company’s valuation stands at $9 billion, which corresponds to a tripling within six months.

Numerous investors from different sectors participated in the funding round. Lead investors include Georgian, G Squared, and Prysm Capital. Other participants include 1789 Capital, Y Combinator, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, Craft Ventures, and the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA).

In addition, strategic partners such as Accenture Ventures, Databricks Ventures, Okta Ventures, and Tether invested. Individuals such as basketball player Shaquille O’Neal and actor Jared Leto also participated in the round.

Business Development and User Base

According to the company, employees from 85 percent of Fortune 500 companies already use the platform. The total number of registered users is over 50 million. The company states it wants to achieve annual revenue of one billion dollars by the end of 2026.

Corporate customers include Atlassian, LabCorp, PayPal, Zillow, Talkdesk, and Adobe. Personnel management company UKG, with over 16,000 employees, uses Replit, for example, for rapid prototyping and the development of internal tools.

Use of Funds

The fresh capital is to flow into several areas:

  • Global expansion, particularly in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East
  • Further development of the product portfolio
  • Expansion of infrastructure capacity

New Partnerships

Replit has expanded its partner network, which already includes companies such as Google, Microsoft, Slack, Stripe, and Databricks. In India, the company’s second-largest market, two new partnerships were recently announced: an integration with payment service provider Razorpay and a partnership with Hexaware for secure implementation in enterprise IT systems.

Parallel to the funding round, Replit unveiled the fourth generation of its AI agent. Agent 4 is said to work ten times faster than its predecessor Agent 3, which was introduced six months ago, according to the company. The new system was developed with the help of Agent 3, according to the company’s own statements.

The platform enables users to create software applications without needing traditional programming knowledge. The company was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in the United States.
