PhysicsX From London Raises $300M, Valuation Surges to $2.4 Billion
London-based startup PhysicsX has raised $300 million in a Series C funding round, valuing the company at approximately $2.4 billion. The round was oversubscribed and was led by Singaporean sovereign wealth fund Temasek. This more than doubles the company’s valuation compared to its previous funding round, in which PhysicsX had been valued at just under one billion dollars.
In addition to Temasek, which had first invested in PhysicsX in 2025, new investors M&G Investments and Intrepid Growth Partners also participated in the round. Existing backers including chipmaker Nvidia, Applied Materials, Atomico, General Catalyst, Siemens, and several other funds increased their stakes. The fresh capital is intended to flow into global expansion, the development of the platform, and the creation of so-called Large Physics Models.
What the company does
PhysicsX develops an AI-native engineering platform that dramatically accelerates physical simulations for industry. Where conventional simulation methods require hours or days, the company’s AI models deliver results in seconds. This enables engineers to test significantly more design variants and to leverage physical insights across the entire product lifecycle — from the early development phase through to digital twins in live operation.
The platform is deployed in particularly demanding industries, including aerospace, semiconductor manufacturing, automotive, energy, and materials production. The company now employs more than 300 staff and doubled its headcount over the past year. Revenue has also doubled year-on-year, with booked revenues having tripled.

This is how Jacomo Corbo, co-founder and CEO of PhysicsX, describes the core thesis of his company. Corbo co-founded PhysicsX together with Robin Tuluie, who serves as Chairman. Tuluie emphasizes that the goal is a democratization of high-performance simulation — that is, opening up a technology that has until now been reserved for a small group of specialists to a broad range of technical profiles within industrial companies.
Movement in the industrial AI market
PhysicsX’s funding round comes during a period of considerable momentum in the field of industrial artificial intelligence. The European market is currently experiencing a consolidation phase: French AI company Mistral AI from Paris has acquired Austrian startup Emmi AI, thereby expanding its presence in the industrial AI segment.
Particular attention has recently also been drawn to the so-called Project Prometheus, a previously highly secretive AI startup founded in 2025 by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former Google X executive Vik Bajaj. The company specializes in “physical AI” and industrial automation and was endowed with starting capital of ten billion dollars. This positions Bezos as a direct competitor in a segment in which PhysicsX is also active.
The accumulation of large investments and strategic acquisitions in this space signals that industry regards AI-driven simulation and automation of physical processes as one of the next major technology markets. With its latest funding round, PhysicsX is well positioned to take on a leading role in this competition.
