PhysicsX has announced a strategic partnership with CoreWeave. The AI-native engineering company from London is now making its platform available on CoreWeave’s high-performance cloud infrastructure. Industrial customers can use it to develop and deploy production-ready physics-based AI systems – and train their own Large Physics Models (LPMs) on proprietary data. PhysicsX itself uses CoreWeave to scale its pre-trained LPMs and generalize them across broader engineering domains.

LPMs learn from physics-based simulation data and real industrial datasets to model and predict the behavior of complex engineering systems. By compressing simulation and optimization cycles, LPMs enable engineers to explore vast design spaces and accelerate the development of next-generation products. However, training frontier LPMs continuously requires powerful GPU computing capacity across widely distributed workloads.

CoreWeave delivers the computing power

CoreWeave’s infrastructure is designed for AI and accelerated computing, delivering the necessary scalability, performance, and developer-friendliness to train and further develop next-generation physics-AI models. The combination of PhysicsX’ AI-native engineering platform and CoreWeave’s purpose-built GPU cloud is intended to enable industrial enterprises to operationalize physics-based AI faster and at greater scale.

Jacomo Corbo, CEO and Co-Founder of PhysicsX, explains: “Industrial AI requires a fundamentally different class of models and infrastructure. Large Physics Models demand sustained high-throughput compute to train on vast simulation and real-world data. By partnering with CoreWeave, we are providing the computational backbone required to scale physics AI on the PhysicsX platform and bring it into production across the world’s most challenging and sophisticated engineering environments.”

Deployment in aerospace, automotive, and semiconductor industries

Max Hjelm, Senior Vice President of Revenue at CoreWeave, emphasizes: “Industrial enterprises require a cloud architecture that can handle the extreme computational demands of LPMs. By leveraging CoreWeave’s high-performance cloud infrastructure, PhysicsX customers will be able to train and deploy these models within complex industrial environments at scale.” The collaboration strengthens PhysicsX’ expanding ecosystem of infrastructure and platform partners for deploying high-performance physics-AI in complex industrial environments.

PhysicsX works with leading organizations in aerospace and defense, automotive, semiconductor, materials, and energy and renewable energy sectors. The company is headquartered in the United Kingdom with offices in London and New York. CoreWeave was founded in 2017 and went public on Nasdaq in March 2025 (ticker: CRWV). The cloud platform positions itself as “The Essential Cloud for AI” and targets AI labs, startups, and globally operating enterprises.
